General Strike Three is in our third year, and the opening games are coming up! Come hang out and watch at Northeast Athletic Field Park Field 4 for our first two softball games at 6:15p and 7:15p, then join us at Sociable Cider Werks around 8:30p to hang out!
It looks like the fields don’t have ample seating, so bring a lawn chair if you’ve got one!
General Strike Three is in our second season, and the opening games are coming up! Come hang out and watch our softball game at Bryn Mawr Meadows Park Field 5, and head over to Utepils after the game if you feel so inclined to hang out. The game’s are an hour long, so we’ll be at Utepils right around 8:30p on 4/29 and 7:30p on 5/6.

🌹️ Clean Air Now! TCDSA Suburban Organizing Meeting on HERC Closure
|
All Twin Cities DSA members and supporters who live in Hennepin County are invited to join us for an informational session and organizing meeting on closing the HERC trash burner.
This event is especially geared towards TCDSAers who live in the suburbs of Hennepin County to build solidarity and strength amongst suburban socialists in opposition to the environmental racism and injustice the HERC represents. Come to learn more about the history of the HERC closure campaign and get connected to future organizing. No prior organizing experience is required.
This event will have a virtual attendance option, in addition to the in-person meeting. We are strongly encouraging folks to attend in-person at the Twin Cities DSA office, if possible.

Solidarity Saturdays: Delta Workers Phone-bank – Saturday, 5/3 – 10:00a – 12:00p – International Association of Machinists’ office
-
DSA across the country is supporting the historic unionization drive of 18,000 Delta ramp, cargo, and tower workers. In 2023, Delta made 40% of the airline industry’s profits – more than United, American, Southwest, and Alaska combined. Despite these record profits, Delta workers are nowhere near the highest compensated in the industry in terms of pay or benefits. This is an important opportunity to support the revival of the labor movement and to support a racially diverse workforce in winning a union and more rights, which will help us fight Trump and the billionaire class.
Delta workers are organizing with the International Association of Machinists (IAM), who have asked DSA for solidarity! Across the country, Delta workers, union members, DSA, and IAM staff are phone-banking Delta workers on Saturdays asking them to resign expired union authorization cards. No experience needed; phone script provided.
