Twin Cities DSA Little Red Letter #83: Let’s Plan The Fight Ahead

Last week, we were all horrified to hear of the plans by the far-right Supreme Court to overturn Roe v Wade. Within 24 hours we joined other organizations rallying at the capitol to make clear that workers are ready to fight back to demand that far from restricting access to abortions, we must ensure that abortion is free upon demand, without apology. You can read more about   While the road to a better future may be paved with a thousand quick actions in response to the headlines, we must also keep our eyes on the horizon and be strategic about our fight. At our upcoming general meeting on Saturday at 1pm (held on Zoom), we will discuss as a membership where we want to direct our chapter’s energy and efforts in the coming months, based on your priorities! We will also hear updates on some of our most recent campaigns and preview some of the big events below.

Our every-other-month general meetings are a chance to hear about the ongoing work of our chapter, make decisions as a membership, and get involved. In addition to general updates, this meeting will feature breakout discussions on how to move our chapter forward in the coming months. This meeting is held virtually on Zoom — agenda to follow soon.

We will meet on Zoom to go over the script, mute ourselves and make calls, and then return to debrief how it went.
