This event is for the work group Streep Corps Uptown cell. We will be discussing the cell goals, what we have accomplished this week, any pertinent information and future plans.

TCDSA is working on making the chapter more open and accessible to our members with kids. This group is implementing ways for parents to meet each other, explore the politics of parenthood, and develop networks and mechanisms to support families within the chapter.

The Outreach Subcommittee is tasked with community outreach within spaces that are not traditional activist or political spaces and learning how to have constructive conversations about socialism with working class people outside of the traditional leftist/activist milieu.

Street Corps’ Encampments Tissue does weekly mutual aid distribution as part of outreach to and organizing with our houseless and lower-income neighbors. These meetings allow us to gather our supplies and organize our teams in advance.
