MELT ICE

Our neighbors need us now more than ever! Get involved!

  1. Join the TCDSA MELT ICE Committee – Connect on Signal and an organizer will follow up with you!
  2. Attend a meeting at the TCDSA Office – We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00pm at the TCDSA office.
  3. Find us on Slack – In the TCDSA Slack, navigate to #Melt-Ice-Priority and talk to members about the work!
  4. Support Ice Victims – Organize mutual aid to support neighbors who’ve been victimized by family separation and state violence like the family of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a father of three who was murdered by ICE.

Resist the Shadow Surge

  1. Over 100,000 of our immigrant neighbors received orders of removal in June of 2026 – the highest number ever – as the Trump government continues a nation-wide “shadow” surge of mass deportation.
  2. Local law enforcement agencies and county jails have become increasingly critical arms of the mass deportation machine, detaining our neighbors and voluntarily honoring statutorily optional ICE hold requests.
  3. TCDSA is fighting the shadow surge by organizing daily court watch at the Whipple building. Get involved and fight back.

Defend the Minnesota 15

  1. Fifteen of our comrades face political persecution for defending our neighbors. Support their legal defense and check out this interview with two indicted organizers.
  2. Hear from Emmett Doyle about community resistance to the ICE occupiers under “Operation Metro Surge” and the next phase of the federal attack on Minnesotans.
  3. Learn from comrades with the Ray Rainbolt Memorial Shooting Club who condemn this lawfare and affirm the right of the working class to collective self-defense.
